Tuesday

And Today It's Snowing

Dozens of daffodils nod in the garden. Squill and grape hyacinths bloom under budding and leafing trees. The rock cress is making a show of white flowered beauty... and snow flurries echo that whiteness as they fall.

For the Women's Spiritual Retreat at Kings Gap though, the weather was all we could have wished. The rains brought out the flowers, clouds were whipped away by wind, and the Lord gave us a beautiful weekend to share.

As this wild spring weather takes us back to winter and forward to summer -- sometimes in the same day -- let's remember our mountaintop experience.

We spent a beautiful spring weekend combining our love of gardening and flowers with our love for the Lord and our love for each other as sisters in the body of Christ.

For those not able to attend, we hope you join us next year.
